Denise Bynum is an experienced Nurse Educator.

Denise Bynum has over 34 years nursing experience with 23 years as a nurse educator. She has developed and taught courses in IV Therapy for Licensed Practical Nurses, offering both certification and recertification courses in the North Mississippi area for the past 18 years.

She received numerous awards for her academic achievements and was named “Educator of the Year” by the National Organization of Associate Degree Nursing in 2005. Her dissertation research “The Development and Testing of the Codependency–Overeating Model in Undergraduate Social Science Students in a Mississippi College” was published in Sage Open. She has three chapters published in a nurse practitioner textbook (Primary care: a collaborative practice)as well as articles in American Journal of Nursing and the  Journal for the Society of Gynecologic Nurse Oncologists.

Dr. Bynum lives in Senatobia, MS where she enjoys teaching, traveling, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
